Dennis grew raised without a father figure because Philander Rodman abandoned him when he was three or four years old.

Philander claimed to have fathered 29 children with 16 different women.

It’s not surprising, however, that Dennis found comfort and security with his sisters and mother.

It would have been a different story if he had become gay, but his life would have been just as wonderful.

The five-time NBA champion demonstrated that being unique is OK and that he didn’t care what people thought of him or his opulent lifestyle.
