Dax Shepard is an American actor, journalist, filmmaker, and podcast host. Dax Shepard is most known for his appearances in “Without a Paddle” (2004), “Zathura: A Space Adventure” (2005), “Employee of the Month,” “Idiocracy,” and “Let’s Go to Prison” (2006), “Hit and Run” (2012), and “CHiPs” (2013).

He garnered considerable notoriety for his role in the MTV practical joke reality series “Punk’d” in 2003.

Dax Shepard was born in Highland Township, Oakland County, Michigan, on January 2, 1975.

Laura LaBo is his mother, and David Robert “Dave” Shepard, Sr, is his father, who works as a car salesperson.

However, in 2012, he composed, produced, co-directed, and starred in the low-budget film “Hit and Run.”

In September of the same year, he and his wife were featured in a Samsung Galaxy Tab S commercial.

CHiPs, a feature-length picture based on the American crime drama of the same name that aired from 1977 to 1983, was written and directed by Dax.
