Italy and Australia

Andersen first signed with Wollongong Hawks in 1998-1999 after beginning his career in college. The Australian National Basketball League included it as well.

He averaged four rebounds and 6.2 points per game. He parted ways with the Hawks in 1999 and joined the Italian League team Kinder Bologna.

He inked a multi-year contract and contributed to Bologna’s Italian Cup victory.
