Who is Dave Anthony?
Dave Anthony is a stand-up comedian, actor, screenwriter, and podcaster. Dave Anthony is best known as the creator and co-host of the comedy podcast The Dollop. On the podcast, he tells famous American stories to his friend and fellow comedian Gareth Reynolds, who has never heard the story before. Dave has also co-hosted the podcast The West Wing Thing with writer Josh Olson since 2019.

In The Dollop, Dave presents a researched event or person from American history to Reynolds, who usually has no idea what the topic will be about. Reynolds then reacts, and the two continue to improvise as they go.
Plan It Change 10 was formed by the two. The mission of the group is to “get people who want to fight climate change together into groups in their cities and towns and turn our fear into action and art”.
Dave has appeared in films, television shows, and commercials.
He has appeared on The Office in 2011, Scare Tactics, Maron, Hello Ladies, Arrested Development, Boston Legal, Veep, Hidden America with Jonah Ray, Comedy Bang Bang, and Entourage, among other shows. He appeared on @midnight twice as a panelist.
