Who is Cybill Shepherd?

Cybill Shepherd is an American actress, singer, author, and former model. In 1971, she made her debut as Jacy Farrow in Peter Bogdanovich’s coming-of-age drama The Last Picture Show, alongside Jeff Bridges and Timothy Bottoms.

She starred as Kelly in Elaine May’s 1972 film The Heartbreak Kid, Betsy in Martin Scorsese’s 1976 film Taxi Driver, and Nancy in Woody Allen’s 1990 film Alice.

Shepherd has had two spouses but has had a swarm of partners.

In her book, she claimed that in 1978, she contacted her mother, crying

and disappointed with the course of her life and profession.

Shepherd returned to Memphis when her mother requested her to.

She met and fell in love with David M. Ford, a local auto parts merchant, and nightclub performer, while there.

That year, she became pregnant, and the couple married. Their daughter, Clementine Ford, was born in 1979.

Unfortunately, the marriage ended in divorce in 1982.

After becoming pregnant by him five years later, the actress married chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim in 1987.

They had twins Cyrus Zachariah and Molly Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim

during the fourth season of Moonlighting. Shepherd’s marriage ended in divorce once more in 1990.

Cybill Shepherd and her two children

Shepherd is a doting mother, and she is constantly worrying about her children.

In fact, the Cybill star stated that when she was fighting illness in the early 2000s

and had a near-death experience, all she could think about was her children.

She described the harrowing experience during a 2015 interview on Today.

She claimed that she wanted to die but couldn’t for the sake of her three children.

“I felt my soul go up to a star,” she claimed. ‘You can’t go there; you have three children,’ I remarked.

Return down there. You have to keep alive.'”

Shepherd had emergency treatment for skin cancer and is doing better than ever as of 2022, according to People.

She is still preoccupied with her children, and all they do is make their mother proud.

Everything we know about Shepherd’s children is listed below.

Shepherd’s eldest child, Clementine Shepherd-Ford, was born on June 29, 1979.

Clementine, like her mother, is a talented actress who has acted in films

such as Girltrash: All Night Long, Last Goodbye, and Cherry Falls.

Clementine has also starred in The Young and the Restless, The L Word, House,

and American Pie, as well as her mother’s show Cybill, according to IMDb.

Clementine was married to Chad Todhunter from 2000 until 2004 in her personal life.

She married her second and present husband, Cyrus Wilcox, after their divorce.

The couple has two children, Elijah and Welles.

Molly Shepherd-Oppenheim, Ariel

Ariel, born Molly Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim on October 6, 1987,

is one of Cybill’s twins. Ariel, unlike her sister and mother, works behind the camera.

Among other things, she has written three episodes of Vampirina,

eight episodes of Solar Opposites, and one episode of Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Ariel and her partner, Eliza Ladensohn, married in Palm Desert, California, in a lovely wedding in 2019.

According to the Daily Mail, the pair married at the opulent Stone Eagle Golf Club.

They exchanged vows in front of their friends and family, including Shepherd, who was present to show her support for her daughter.

Shepherd’s only son is Cyrus Zachariah Shepherd-Oppenheim.

He was born on October 6, 1987, as Ariel’s twin brother.

Cyrus has maintained the most low-key existence of Cybill’s three children,

avoiding the spotlight as much as possible. He has, however, graced a few red carpets throughout the years.

He made news in 2010 after being jailed on theft charges, according to CBS News.

According to NBC, Cyrus was returning to Philadelphia to study pre-law

at the University of Pennsylvania when the incident occurred.

Cyrus was sentenced to attend AA meetings and pay $55 in restitution after his

defense attorney, Bill Brennan, argued that the accusations were “serious yet modest.”

“The matter is basically put in limbo for a year,” the attorney noted at the time.

He promised that before the end of the year, all charges would be withdrawn and his arrest record erased.
