Professional Career

Hornets of New Orleans

The New Orleans Hornets selected Paul fourth overall in the 2015 NBA draft. The Hornets played the majority of their games in Oklahoma City during his first two seasons.

Chris concluded the season as the league’s top rookie in points, assists, and steals, becoming only the second rookie in NBA history to do it.

Paul was selected NBA Rookie of the Year after averaging 16.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

2007

2009-2010

Paul tore cartilage in his left knee in early February 2010, and surgery kept him out for nearly a month, causing him to miss the All-Star Game.

2010-2011

On December 13th, he recorded a then season-high 31 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds in a 108–96 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Two days later, Chris had 28 points, eight assists, and seven steals to lead the Rockets to their 12th straight victory, a 124–109 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Paul became the first NBA history player to post 28 points, eight assists, and seven steals in a game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Phoenix Suns
