The first person to use the alias Film Insider reported that Evans and Garfield would play brothers in an Apple film.
The sci-fi/mystery film will allegedly be directed by Rian Johnson, the director and writer of Knives Out.
Knives Out, a 2019 American mystery film, follows detective Benoit Blanc as he investigates the death of Harlan Thrombey, a best-selling crime novelist.
Chris Evans played Hugh Ransom Drysdale, Thrombey’s notorious grandson, in Knives Out.
His performance received critical acclaim because many of his fans and followers enjoyed seeing him in a role other than Captain America.
Johnson, on the other hand, has never worked with Garfield.
According to Film Insider, the film will be more serious and heavier than Knives Out.
They revealed that the plot of the film was being kept under wraps for the time being and that filming would begin in the summer of 2023.
