NXT

Charlotte joined NXT in 2012 and was under a developmental contract with WWE before joining the main roster. Charlotte was her ring name at the time.

Despite joining NXT in 2012, she did not have the opportunity to compete in the ring until 2013. She was first pitted against Asuka and Cameron with Bayley.

Charlotte later betrayed Batley by joining forces with Summer Rea and Sasha Banks. After then, she appeared on a regular basis and received mixed reviews until May of 2013.

The WWE women’s championship was up for grabs in June. Charlotte not only defeated all of her opponents, but she also won the NXT championship, her first in WWE.

Despite this, Charlotte and Bayley hugged it out and joined hands against Sasha and Becky Lynch after an intense feud. Sasha finally won the NXT title, and Charlotte made her final appearance in NXT.

Debut in WWE

WWE female wrestlers were first referred to as Divas. Nonetheless, when Stephanie McMahon chose to rename it the Woman’s division in 2015, Charlotte was signed as part of a revolution.

Stephenie recruited a slew of female talents from NXT to WWE. Team Charlotte initially feuded with Team Bella, and Team Charlotte unexpectedly won the match.

Flair was given the opportunity to be the number one contender for the Diva’s title shortly after her debut on the main roster.

She won her first-ever Woman Championship on her second attempt after the referee had previously invalidated the match.

Charlotte never looked back after that, as she went on to become the longest-reigning female champion in WWE history. Charlotte was polite to everyone throughout the beginning of her career.

However, after winning the championship, she began to take on a wicked persona. Despite this, she earned a lot of criticism for her gimmick, and she even lost the title to Becky Lynch in 2016.

The Divas’ Championship was renamed Woman’s Championship during WrestleMania 32, and Charlotte became the first woman to win it after defeating Banks and Lynch in a triple threat match.

But Charlotte’s success was getting to her; she began behaving arrogantly and referring to herself as “The Queen,” “The Greatest Female Wrestler of All Time.”

She then did something that no one expected her to do: she began fighting with her father. In one episode of Raw, Charlotte humiliated Ric in front of multiple people.

Then, at WrestleMania 33, she lost her Woman’s title to Bayley.

Smackdown

Charlotte was selected to Smackdown in 2017, however, after a shift, she became a fan favorite as she reinvented herself and her attitude.

But Charlotte couldn’t accomplish much in Smackdown Plus at first, as her father’s health forced her to take a break.

She soon reappeared, thanking the audience for being there for her and supporting her through her difficult moments.

After defeating Natalya in November of the same year, Flair earned her first-ever Smackdown woman’s championship. The fact that she won the title in her hometown was the frosting on the cake.

Charlotte faced Lynch in the 1000th episode of Smackdown after defending and losing the belt numerous times. Charlotte, however, was defeated in that match.

Following that, Becky, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte got into some heated arguments. Charlotte reverted to a nasty role and began to dominate everyone, even attempting to demine the audience.

Return to RAW

Charlotte was selected to Raw and named Team RAW’s Survivor Series commander.

Asuka was a member of RAW, but she betrayed them by spitting green mist into Charlotte’s eyes, causing her to be eliminated from the contest. As a result, Team RAW was unable to beat Team Smackdown.

Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, everything was closed, including WWE, therefore Charlotte’s career did not progress much that year.

Charlotte recovered her belt in 2021 and successfully defended it until she was drafted back to Smackdown.

Becky and Charlotte’s titles were changed when they moved across the rosters. Charlotte earned the Smackdown Woman’s Champion immediately after being drafted to Smackdown.
