He also defeated Keitani Graham of the Federated States of Micronesia in the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Professional Wrestling Career: WWE Debut

Chad was poised to make it big as a professional wrestler, having already won a state championship and competed in the Olympics.

And what could be better than the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)? As a result, in November 2013, Gable, who continued to go by his given name, secured a deal with the professional wrestling organization WWE.

He chose Chad as his ring after being assigned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Finally, on September 5, 2014, Chad made his NXT debut, defeating Troy McClain in an NXT home event. However, he was defeated by Tyler Breeze on his broadcast debut the following year.

Chad began urging Jason Jordan to forge a new alliance after his breakup with Tye Dillinger as a rookie.

The two made their team debut in July, going up against Elias Samson and Steve Cutler, and it was a triumph.

Similarly, even after winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic competition, the duo became a fan favorite. It was their fighting energy and tenacity that made them so delightful.

By the January NXt match, Jordan and Gable had adopted the moniker American Alpha. At NXT TakeOver: Dallas, they won the NXT Tag Team Championship, but they were unable to retain it.

The American Alpha was also selected to the SmackDown brand on July 19. The couple defeated The Vandevillians in their inaugural encounter.

At SummerSlam, the two teamed up with The Usos and The Hype Bros to defeat The Ascension.

Gable hurt his knee during the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, preventing American Alpha from competing at Backlash. The squad also lost many future matches as a result of the injury.

However, after defeating Randy Orton and Luker Harper of The Wyatt Family on December 27, American Alpha became the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Following that, they successfully defended their title against teams like as The Ascension, Usos, Breezango, and others.

The American Alpha folded in July, with Jason Jordan joining the Raw brand as a single fighter.

Shorty G and Tag Team Specialist

Gable hooked up with Shelton Benjamin after American Alpha was disbanded.

The two won their first tag team match against The Ascension, followed by another win over The Hype Bros.

Gable and Benjamin have competed in a number of tag team titles since their creation, but have yet to win one.

As a result, the two became increasingly wicked.

Gable, meanwhile, was promoted to Raw on April 16 as part of the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-Up.

He joined forces with Bobby Roode and changed into trunks and a robe.

After failing to win the tag team championship, the two became heel wrestlers until the Superstar Shakeup split them up in 2019.

Chad moved to SmackDown and continues as a single act at the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up.

He defeated Gentleman Jack Gallagher in his debut match, and he won again in their rematch.

He was also one of the 16 contestants in the King of the Ring competition.

Gable’s ambition of winning the title was shattered when he was defeated by Baron Corbin in the last round.

Corbin requested that the announcer refer to him as ‘Shorty G,’ which he dutifully did. It has since become his ring moniker.

Chad continued to form teams and compete in Team challenges after the survival series ended.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Gable will be dropping the moniker ‘Short G’ from his introduction.

Not to mention the fact that supporters were first unsatisfied with the name.

According to them, Chad’s name is not only ludicrous, but it also makes him a gimmick and a joke, despite the fact that he is one of the hardest-working wrestlers in the world.

Children and Wife

Chad Gable is currently married. Gable is married to Kristi Betts, a stunning woman with whom he has no further details.

Similarly, the two had been dating for quite some time before tying the knot on June 19, 2011.

Similarly to other details, little has been revealed about their wedding and marriage as a whole.

Nonetheless, the pair is content with their life at the present.

Besides being a kind husband, Chad is also a father of not one but three gorgeous children — Clay, Ann, and Meadow.

The modest family seems to be enjoying their lives to the fullest and are comfortable with keeping their life away from the prying eyes of the media.

Also, either of them has never been linked with relationship rumors or anything like that.
