Wrestling Professional Career

Brodus Clay began wrestling when he was 33 years old, in 2006, when he was 33 years old. With World Wrestling Entertainment, he signed his first contract (WWE).

Murdoch was assigned to the WWE’s Deep South Wrestling developmental area (DSW). In September 2006, he made his professional debut.

G-Rilla was his first ring moniker. His demeanor was that of a street thug. In his first match, he defeated his opponent, Big Bully Douglas.

G-Rilla became an enforcer (a heavier individual who normally comes second in about) for a team called the Urban Attack after a few matches following his theatrical street style.

Eric Perez and Sonny Siaki, two additional wrestlers, were also members of the organization.

His feud with The Bag Lady later cost them a DSW Tag Team Championship bout against The Major Brothers.

The Urban Attack, on the other hand, was victorious in the end. However, his disagreement with the other members of the Urban Attacks continued, and he was kicked out of the group.

Feuds and Fights in WWE

G-Rilla began targeting the Urban Assault during matches after being insultingly thrown out of the gang, and eventually defeated them in a match.

He teamed up with Freakin Deacon, a former foe, to do this.

The pair went on to work with the Samoan Fight Club and Afa Jr., Shawn Osborne and Jon Bolen, Robert Anthony, and Johnny Curtis on a number of additional trams.

The team, however, disbanded after Freakin Deacon suffered a mental collapse.

G-Rilla has become a household name in the wrestling industry by 2007. Murdoch made his debut in the inaugural show of Florida Championship Wrestling, defeating Shawn Osborne. The Battle Royal was eventually won by him.

He became the number one contender for the FCW South Heavyweight Championship as a result of his victory. After being disqualified, he lost the tournament against reigning champion Harry Smith.

G-Rilla continued to provoke Smith and Hart into bouts. TJ Wilson and Ted DiBiase established a team with Smith and Hart.

G-Rila collaborated with Osborne, Jake Hager, and Afa Jr. as well. In 2008, his WWE contract expired, and he was released.

He became friends with Tensai, and the two even formed a tag team to defeat numerous well-known teams such as Primo and Epico.

Team Rhodes Scholars, Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal, and so on. Their tag team was eventually dubbed “Tons of Funk.”

Due to his envy, he threw fits and even attacked Tensai, his tag team partner. This did not go over well with his other acquaintances.
