Relationship Status
Mika McGee and Brian Kleinschmidt are now married. They first met when they were in high school in Florida. They both grew up in Florida and attended the same high school.
Brian was accidentally reassigned to a girl’s choral class. He met Mika in the girl’s group and instantly fell in love with her.
He couldn’t muster up the guts to invite Mika out. Years later, when they were both working in the fitness industry, they ran into each other again.
Brain, who was too nervous to approach Mika for homecoming in 1999, gained courage after nearly a decade and reunited with her, inviting her on a date.
Brian introduced Mika to his community, including business concepts, when the couple first dated for years.
Brian asked Mika if she would marry him as they were on the stage of a commercial theater. Mika (of course) said yes, and the two exchanged wedding vows on October 10, 2015.
It has been about 6 years since the two have had a happy family and are successful in both their business and personal lives. They are now reality television stars.
However, before Brian and Mika reconnected to become the stars of their dream home on HGTV, Brian was married to Ericka Dunlap.
Brian and Ericka appeared in the 15th season of The Amazing Race in 2009. They were both an iconic pair, as well as the show’s youngest coupling.
They were the first interracial married pair to appear on the American version of The Amazing Race. Ericka was already a celebrity in her own right at the time.
She attended the University of Central Florida and held the title of Miss Florida.
She later went on to win the title of Miss America in 2004. However, the marriage did not work out for the pair, and they divorced.
Brian is now Mika’s husband, and she has a daughter named Jade from a previously undisclosed relationship, who is between the ages of 13 and 15.
Jade, Mika’s daughter, is also quite pleased with both of her parents.
On the show 100 Days Dream Home, Brian is a developer and Mika is a realtor.
While producing major transactions, they redesign homes and build new residences from the ground up.
