Kristina Tonteri-Young is a former ballerina and actress from Finland. Kristina Tonteri-Young is best known for her role as the queer sister Beatrice in Simon Barry’s fantasy drama Warrior Nun. The series is based on Ben Dunn’s comic book character Warrior Nun Areala. It debuted on July 2, 2020, and the second season debuted on November 10, 2022.

Kristina Tonteri-Young was born on January 17, 1998, in Finland to New Zealander parents.

Her family relocated to New York City when she was six years old.

She is an only child, of mixed ethnicity, with Finnish nationality.

The rising actress is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 53 kg, and is fluent in Finnish and English.

The 24-year-old actress studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, where she learned Russian.

Tonteri-Young appears alongside Alba Baptista as the show’s main character, Ava Silva, Tonya Turner as Sister Mary, Thekla Reuten as Jillian Salvius, William Miller as Adriel, and other well-known actors.

She had a great time working with her teammates and thought the experience was fantastic.

In an interview with BriefTake, she also gushed about the sisterly bond she felt with her cast mates and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to do so.

Outside the Wire star also stated that she strongly related to her character in Warrior Nun, saying that it was great to see those traits in herself and that she was glad that others got to see the character, who was very analytical and intellectual.
