The Beginnings of a Career

Weightlifting, often known as powerlifting, was Pushkar’s first sport. In addition, his father thought it was the best place to start if you were new to arm wrestling.

Pushkar finished third in both divisions of Men’s Masters 100 Kg in Europe in 2005.

Pushkar was victorious in the 2013 EAF European Championship, taking first place.

He won gold in both the Senior Men Left +110 Kg and Senior Men Right +110 Kg categories.

The A1 Russian Open’s Absolute class was the only appearance documented.

Pushkar won the tournament by defeating Denis Cyplenkov 3-0 in the finals.

Cause of Death and Accident

On November 14, 2018, Andrey Pushkar was killed in a road accident. With Oleg Zhokh and Oleg’s father, he drove in the Rivne region.

The Citroen driver lost control of the vehicle. According to preliminary reports, he then drove into the oncoming lane and crashed with a truck.

The van’s driver was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after the accident.

In the cabin were the driver’s 50-year-old father and Andrey Pushkar, a 33-year-old.

Both of them died, while Oleg Zhokh spent ten days in a coma.
