A Brief History: The Price Is Exorbitant
Apostle Frederick K.C Price, Allen’s grandpa, was a well-known televangelist who founded the Crenshaw Christian Center in 1973 and published faith-related books.
His grandfather and aunt came up with the notion of a school because they had a large religious following.
In September 1986, the institution first opened its doors. However, because Allen’s elder uncle died in a vehicle accident a few years later, the school chose to keep his name.
The school was later named after Crabbe’s older brother, Frederick III, by Mrs. Evans, Crabbe’s aunt.
Price, on the other hand, has educated over 10,000 pupils in the Soth Angeles area, ranging from pre-school to 12th grade.
And its alumni have a 100% acceptance record to four-year universities, with over 90,000 scholarships.

In recognition of Crabbe’s generous donation, the school chose to name the basketball court after him.
