Matt Long’s childhood and career
Long was born on May 18, 1980, in Winchester, Kentucky, and is 42 years old.
He began acting in primary school plays at an early age.
Throughout his undergraduate years, he continued to perform.
He studied at Western Kentucky University. Long came to New York City after college to work as an actor in several theaters.
When his current manager saw him perform at the Williamstown Theater Fest in 2004,
he won a lead part in The WB drama series Jack & Bobby.
He later acted in other TV pilots and films, including Ghost Rider and Sydney White.
Long played the major character of Dylan Hewitt in the television series The Deep End in 2010
and a recurring role as Joey Baird in Mad Men. After three years, he was cast as the lead in Lucky 7 in 2013.
Long originally debuted as a recurring character Zeke Landon on the NBC
drama Manifest during its first season, then was moved to the main cast for season 2.
