Career in College
Rutter started each of the 12 games he played during his freshman season as the starting quarterback in his college career.
Rutter had 250 throws for 3,237 yards and 38 touchdowns in his rookie season.
He even placed second nationally in terms of touchdowns, fourth in terms of efficiency, and tenth in terms of yards.
The following season, Rutter also started each of the 12 games. He completed 208 throws for 2,898 yards and 21 touchdowns this year while also scoring on the ground.
