The Trail Blazers tied the series 2-2 with the Nuggets

After falling to the Nuggets in the first two games, Portland Trail Blazers played the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 at the Moda Center.

On Saturday night, THE BLAZERS defeated THE NUGGETS 115-95.

With the victory, the Blazers have now tied the series 2-2 because of Norman Powell’s outstanding shooting.

Damian Lillard, the Blazers’ star player, had a dismal scoring night, but because of the contributions of Powell and other Blazers players, the Blazers prevailed.

Norman had a fantastic night, tallying a playoff-high number of points for his career.

Carmelo Anthony also used the victory to celebrate his birthday.

On the other hand, Nikola Jokic captained the Nuggets and had one of the season’s lowest point totals.

The Blazers took the lead early on in the game, controlled the Nuggets the entire time, and won the game in the end.

In the first quarter, Portland got off to a fast start.

The Blazers’ Norman Powell made a layup to start the contest.

Powell gained possession of the ball when Michael Porter Jr. lost it, and as a result, Powell scored again on the opposing end to give the Blazers a four-point advantage.

After then, Jusuf Nurkic missed a layup, sparking a 6-0 run that began more than a minute into the period.

The Nuggets’ last bucket came from behind the arc, thanks to Austin Rivers.

Nurkic then responded with a floater. The Trail Blazers led 32-24 at the end of the third quarter.

The second quarter saw the Blazers maintain their advantage.

Paul Millsap missed a shot, and Green made a basket to give the Nuggets a lead early in the period.

Following Anthony’s missed mid-range jump shot, Green retaliated with a three-pointer.

With 8:30 left in the second quarter, Markus Howard made a three-pointer to reduce the margin to two points.

The Blazers gained a 10-point advantage when the period ended, 47-57.

Powell retaliated by slamming home Lillard’s long pass. Anthony made a mid-range jump shot.

Anfernee Simons followed Morris’ missed layup with a three-pointer.

With 2:23 left in the quarter, Carmelo made a three-pointer to extend the margin to 30 points.

With just over two minutes left in the second quarter, the score was 58-91.

Millsap responded to Carmelo’s fadeaway with a bucket on Morris’ missed shot.

With roughly 24 seconds remaining in the quarter, Millsap drew a foul and missed a floater.

The Blazers took a 27-point lead into the fourth quarter and the game concluded 66-93.

The Blazers defeated the Nuggets with ease.

With a three-pointer to open the fourth quarter, Powell gave his team a 30-point lead.

Millsap received a foul after missing a shot. Powell then dropped a floater after drawing a foul.

Morris missed a three-point attempt after that, and Campazzo made a three-point attempt on the following possession.

With 7:46 remaining in the fourth quarter, they led 78-99.

Over Campazzo, Simons dropped a floater.

Then Vlatko Cancer responded with a bucket, resulting in a foul.

Morris returned a bucket after McCollum missed a layup with a bucket.

McCollum responded with a jumper after that. Powell drove directly to the basket, but JaVale McGee stopped him there.

Howard miss-hit a three-point attempt. T.J. Leaf deflected Derrick Jones Jr.’s missed a three-point attempt.

With around two minutes left in the quarter, their score was 89-110.

Then Howard missed a three-point attempt, and T.J. retaliated with a jump shot.

At the rim, Nassir Little stopped McGee.

With just a few seconds left, Shaquille Harrison made a three-pointer.

With around 20 seconds left, Derrick stole the ball, drove right to the rim on the other end, and sank a slam.

The Blazers crushed the Nuggets to the tune of 95–115 at the end of the third.

Scoring achievements

Both teams experienced relatively low point totals from their star players, with Damian Lillard of the Blazers scoring just 10 points.

However, in the Blazers’ situation, other players stood up and made contributions to their club in Lillard’s place.

12 points, two rebounds, and seven assists were scored by Facundo Campazzo.
