Sebastian Stan discusses the use of firearms on set
Sebastian Stan, a Hollywood actor, is upset over the recent fatality on the set of the film Rust.
It happened by chance when a loaded gun was accidentally fired, and the bullet struck a person, killing him.
He has been in several action flicks over his career.
He believes that film producers and directors must be extremely vigilant regarding safety precautions on the set.
He stated, “How unfortunate and tragic.
It’s the scariest thing in the world because when you arrive at the set, it’s supposed to be the safest place on the planet.
That is exactly the objective.
I know from my own experience with several of those action flicks that there was constant contact between the actors during all action sequences.
We were constantly concerned about where we were going, where we were pointing, and if we needed that for this shot if we were holding props or weapons of any kind. “Can we do without it?”

You must allow a specific amount of space. It is a time-consuming but extremely valuable practice that we must now examine.”

The actor has been in numerous successful films, including the Captain America trilogy, the Avengers series, The Last Full Measure (released in 2019), and The 355.
He’s fine with using rubber take weapons: “It should not have happened.
It’s not going to happen.
At this point, I don’t care; I’m happy with a rubber weapon if that’s what it takes.
You don’t need to fire from anything anymore because technology has improved.
It’s difficult to grasp how something like that might happen.
On the sets of my film The 355, we had an excellent safety staff.
It is something that we (Hollywood) will have to look into and determine what is required at this time.”
