Vikki Zimmer is the wife of Mike Zimmer. Mike Zimmer is a well-known football coach who headed the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League from 2014 to 2021. Mike Zimmer has created numerous headlines.

In the early 1980s, Mike Zimmer and Vikki Zimmer met on a running track at Weber State University.

They once attended a Weber State party when the son of the then-head coach, Mike Price, guaranteed his father that Zimmer would one day marry Vikki.
In 1982, the college sweethearts tied the knot in Ogden, Utah.
The married pair kept their personal lives private, thus little is known about their relationship.
Nonetheless, Mike and Vikki remained together until her sad death, so it’s safe to presume they had a wonderful relationship.
During their time together, the couple had two girls and a boy.
She gave birth to three children.

Mike Zimmer’s Wife Died Naturally
Vikki died abruptly at her Ohio home on October 8, 2009, at the age of 50.
After returning home from practice that night, Vikki Zimmer’s husband discovered her lifeless.
According to the Hamilton County Coroner, she died of natural causes.
Zimmer was laid to rest at Holy Cross Immaculata Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Friends, family, and several Bengals players and coaches attended the memorial service to bid her farewell.
Mike led the Cincinnati Bengals to their biggest win in years three days after Vikki’s death.
Following the victory, the football coach wept as he remembered his wife and spoke glowingly of her compassion.
Fortunately, he found peace in training and, despite his loneliness, always found something to be thankful for.
Similarly, Mike Zimmer’s wife was a devoted mother to her children, thus her death must have left deep wounds.
They continue to honor her memory by assisting individuals in need through The Mike Zimmer Foundation.
