Greg James was born on December 17, 1985, in Lewisham, London, England. Greg’s age is 36.

Greg also hosted breakfast shows on Future Radio in Norwich and Pulse Rated in Salhouse before landing a job at BBC Radio 1.
The journalist was named ‘Best Male Presenter’ at the Student Radio Awards in 2005. During his university breaks, he appeared on Galaxy North East.
Greg joined BBC Radio 1 in June 2007 to present Early Breakfast on Fridays and fill in for Sara Cox and Vernon Kay.
The day after graduating from university, he presented his first show on Friday, June 1, 2007. Greg was given the 4:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. Early Breakfast Show in October 2007, but it was quickly changed to 4 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. five days a week.
On October 1, 2007, he debuted his first full-time show. Adele’s Hometown Glory was his first Record of the Week.
On 21 September 2009, Radio 1 launched a new schedule, and it was announced that Greg would move to an early afternoon slot – 1 pm to 4 pm – taking over for Edith Bowman, who had moved to the weekend breakfast slot.
