Moyles stated that Dominic Byrne, who read the news on his BBC Radio 1 show, and producer Pippa Taylor would return with him.
On April 19, 2016, it was announced that there would be an additional pre-recorded show on Saturday mornings between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., featuring clips from the week, interviews with studio guests, and new content, making him available on Radio X six days a week.
Moyles surpassed Johnny Vaughan, an English television and radio presenter, and film critic, to become the capital’s most listened-to youth breakfast show in the third quarter of 2005, with 895,000 listeners.
His viewers’ ratings continued to rise week after week, earning him a gold Sony Radio Award for best entertainment show in 2006.
