People Magazine first reported Boutella and Johnson’s romance on February 7, 2019, when a close source told the publication about the couple’s romance.
According to the source, Boutella and Johnson began dating around a year ago – in early 2018 – but split up for a short time before rekindling their romance.
“They’re very happy together and appear to be serious,” the source added.
The couple was seen together at the premiere of the 2019 film Alita: Battle Angel in Los Angeles the same week.
Johnson played Hugo in the science fiction film directed by Robert Rodriguez.
During the premiere, the two appeared to be in good spirits as they posed for photos, with Johnson’s arms around his girlfriend.
Boutella was dressed in a sheer black gown, while Johnson was dressed in a navy blue suit.

When he said that, the interviewer asked him what went wrong between them.
However, the actor refused to answer the question, stating that he did not want to discuss it in public.
