Justin H. Min’s Ben Hargreeves took a big character transformation in The Umbrella Academy season 3, which debuted on Netflix on June 22, 2022. Min’s Ben was perhaps one of the most liked and loved characters – despite being a ghost – throughout the first and second seasons of the show. However, it changed in the season two finale and the third season.
In the third season, Ben was undoubtedly one of the most irritable and despised characters in the show. But, Ben’s character transformation was possibly apparent to many who have been following the actor for the past few months.

During one of his interviews leading up to the release of season 3,
Min revealed that his character might be despised the most in the upcoming season.
Nonetheless, the American actor had no hard feelings for the hate his character experienced.
In reality, he is quite happy. On Sunday, June 26, 2022, Min — who stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.8 meters)
took to his Twitter handle to publish a picture of himself — probably taken during the filming of season 3.
Captioning his picture, he thanked all the viewers of The Umbrella Academy for loathing his character in season 3.
In addition, he mentioned that hate was all he ever wanted.
His comments were, “thank you for disliking him. it’s everything I’ve ever wanted.”
Multiple Twitter users flocked to the comment area and commended
the actor for his amazing effort of turning Ben lovable into a hatable.
One wrote, “played him a Lil too well bestie. I’m outraged every time he’s on screen.”

“You did such wonderful work,” another wrote.
Similarly, one Twitter user commented, “I hated hate you, but I had no choice.”
On the other side, other users questioned Min’s comment noting that despite the
character change, they still adored Ben. One Twitter user said, “I don’t even detest him. I love him.”

another said, to which a Twitter user followed up with, “sorry Justin we genuinely adore him.”
Justin H. Min’s Ben Hargreeves was first presented as one of the seven members of the Umbrella Academy.
But while Ben is only a child, he gets killed during one of their missions. But, Klaus resurrects Ben as a ghost using his powers.
The Sparrow Academy has introduced in the season two finale,
and one of its members is Ben, who is arrogant — the polar opposite of the Umbrella Academy’s Ben.
However, towards the end of Season 3, we learned why Sparrow Academy’s Ben become so haughty.
We may also observe some changes in Ben’s character at the end of the third season. Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy is now available exclusively on Netflix.
