She was later questioned how she persuaded Dunham to get a tattoo.
While answering, she stated that it was quite simple because “Lena, to me, is the easiest person to shop for.”
She went on to say, “Anything I would buy for her, she would find it cool in some way.”
“If there’s something that I am into that may be a little bit out there for some people,
Lena will always be the person to meet me there. It’s the same with the tattoo.”

A ‘Heart and Banner’ tattoo is one of many on her body.
On the palm of her left hand, she has an outline heart with a banner tattooed.
“IX-XXV-MMX” is written inside the banner as a numerical representation of “9-25-2010,” her daughter Rafaella Israel Mosberg’s birth date.
Her cousin’s sister’s name is another tattoo she has inscribed on her right armpit.
‘MALICE’ is written on the tattoo. In 2017, she and her cousin’s sister received tattoos of each other’s names.
Kirke also has a ‘Chevron lines’ tattoo on the outside of her left middle finger.
