Jules LeBlanc, aka Annie LeBlanc, is recovering after being hit by a drunk driver. LeBlanc’s team issued an official statement on August 5, 2022, via the actress’s Instagram story. People became concerned after hearing the statement from LeBlanc’s followers.
On Saturday, August 6, LeBlanc took to her TikTok account to share a video with graphic images and provide updates on herself.
“Hey guys, I just wanted to come on here and show you guys what I looked like about a week and a half ago,” she said at the start of the video.
If you didn’t know, I was recently hit by a drunk driver, so, be warned, I’m about to show some pictures.”
The first image she displayed was of her bruised leg, which was the point of impact.
The second photograph was taken after she was taken to the hospital, and it shows her with a bloody and swollen nose.
She then showed another photo taken two days after she returned home, but her nose was still bruised.
In between the serious moments, she added a lighthearted moment by showing a photo of herself that she thought was amusing [she was still injured in the photo].
“But yeah, I just wanted to come on here and show you guys a few pictures,” LeBlanc said after showing the images.
To clarify, I am no longer in the hospital. I feel like that confused a few people, uh, that was the night of July 23rd.”
“So, I’m back at home, recovering. “I’m so lucky I didn’t break anything, but yeah, I love you guys, and that’s it,” she said at the end of her video.
LeBlanc captioned her video, stating that she only posted these photos to “raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving” and to “clarify some of the questions and comments” she had received.
“Thank you to everyone who sent love,” TikTok’s star continued.
The statement issued by her team began, “On the evening of Saturday, July 23rd, Jules was struck by a hit and run drunk driver.”
“He ran a red light while she and some of her friends were crossing a Santa Monica crosswalk.
Emergency services were summoned, and paramedics and firefighters arrived almost immediately, while SMPD apprehended the drunk driver.”
“Jules’ face and legs were bloodied, scraped, and bruised, but she escaped with no broken bones or serious injuries.
Jules has been resting and healing for the past few weeks and is nearing the end of her recovery.”

“If you are ever out drinking and need help getting home, please call a friend, family member, rideshare service, or non-emergency assistance number to get home in a safe manner.
Driving while intoxicated is never worth the risk. “Remain safe,” they added.
People began sending well-wishes after learning that LeBlanc had been hospitalized as a result of the car accident.
