He celebrated 28 years of sobriety earlier this year in 2020.
Zimmern rose to prominence as the executive chef of Café Un Deux Trois.
He spent four and a half years honing his culinary skills there.
Andrew went on to establish other hit TV shows, including Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.
