54 motivational Casey Stengel Quotes that can help you reach your goals
Casey Stengel, an American professional baseball player, was also a manager for more than five decades. Throughout his career, he was known as the manager of the New York Yankees. It was the same squad he led to seven World Series victories.
He played outfield for the National League Brooklyn Dodgers with his left hand.
Later, he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for a year, the Philadelphia Phillies from 1920 to 1921, and numerous other clubs.
Surprisingly, he hit 339 home runs for the New York Giants and helped them win two World Series games in 1923.
He was also known for his funny double-talk, and he had a moniker, “The Old Professor.”
His theatrics were more popular than his baseball judgment. But he’s no longer with us. He passed away in 1975.
